College Courses Close to Home

Wake Tech’s Eastern Wake Campus in nearby Wendell gives Zebulon residents access to hundreds of degree and certification programs. From engineering and aviation to public safety and skilled trades, Wake Tech equips students and employers with the ability to succeed in an ever-changing economy.

Located in Raleigh, TTI focuses on hands-on skills for high-demand trades, including electrical, HVAC, and plumbing. Whether in the classroom or online, students can earn industry credentials and prepare for licensing exams that open doors to sustainable, well-paying careers.

Miller-Motte offers training in growing fields like HVAC, IT, cloud computing, and network operations. Their programs give students practical, job-ready skills that employers value from day one.

Wake County Public School System (WCPSS) – Career & Technical Education (CTE)

Students across Wake County can begin building their futures while still in high school through Career & Technical Education programs. Capital Area Workforce Development (CAWD) 

CAWD brings people and opportunities together to strengthen the region’s economy. As a public-private partnership serving Wake, Johnston, Chatham, Lee, and Orange counties, CAWD works with employers, educators, and community partners to ensure they have access to the talent they require.
